From New Orleans we flew to Phoenix. There we stayed at a fashinable resort outside Scottsdale near Phoenix. Here we had no sightseeing but just relaxed in the desert.

 

There was only desert here only thirty or forty years ago

 

Now there are hotels and resorts with swimming pools etc. This is at our hotel

 

This lake is at a resort called the Mc Cormack Ranch

 

A tourist cactus and a tourist, me of course

 

On the way from Scottsdale to Grand Canyon we passed an old indian pueblo called Montezumas Castle

 

We also stopped at the village Sedona in Oak Creek Canyon
