Reorganized my homepage that was poorly updated. Yes, I will move it away from tripod, because I was sick of the pop up banner. Important news will still be posted here!

News in brief:
Patrik hardly plays for Bayern München. But it's expected that he will take Lothar Matthäus place when he goes to America in winter. That'll be soon...

Sweden, with Patrik as team captain, qualified for the first time ever for the European Champions ships, this time held in Holland and Belgium. They won very secure their group, which consisted of England, who came second thanks to Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria and Luxemburg. Quite an achievment!

Anyone who wants to meet Patrik before the start of the season should go to Thailand, where he is on vacation with his wife and kids, his parents and his brother Fredrik and his girlfriend.... Some other players of the nationalteam just spend their vacation in Gothenburg...

Today Sweden played against England at Wembley and it ended 0-0. It was a very good match from Sweden, England was extremely violent (just after one minute of  playing one Swedish player had to be replaced after a rude attack). Yes, an exciting game, with the Swedes as lucky winners, as they are now as good as well qualified for Euro 2000!
Patrik played the full 90 minutes (well, more the 100, concidering the extra time!) and he played very secure. Also he was active in the offensive. TV3, where the match as shown live in Sweden, nominated him with Fredrik Ljungberg and Stefan Schwarz as player of the game, Ljungberg "won". Patrik also got an elbow on his throath during the game, which was one of the least hard attacks of the Brits.
After the game he told TV3 that he now really looks forward to his vacation, it doesn't matter where to.

At the end of June, Patrik and his family will move to Munich and he will start training for his new team on July 5th. It's already said that Bayern now has a dream defence: Patrik and Matthäus... Patrik is 27, Matthäus 38....

There has been a lot of speculation, but today it's official: Patrik goes to Bayern München. He told me this myself after the training of the Swedish national team this afternoon, when I met him. But it's in the newspapers as well, all be it very small. The coming match against England is of course more important. Patrik (and the rest) really trained well today. There is no doubt that they will defeat England and Patrik says he is highly motivated.

Sweden played a friendly match against Jamaica in the Råsunda stadium in Stockholm, which they won 2-1. Patrik played a good match as teamcaptain, but to spare him for the coming important qualificationmatch against England on Wembley, 5 june, he was replaced by Johan Anegrund during the second half.
