“Hog in the Pound” started as a group about ten years ago.

In periods they’ve been on tour over Scandinavia as fulltime musicians.

All members live in Nynäshamn, about six Swedish miles south from Stockholm.

 The Irish influenced stile, a mix of traditional Irish folksongs and rock´n´roll is a fresh alternative to all the ordinary cover bands there is.

Most of the songs are “The Pogues” and "The Dubliners"- covers but the band also plays some material written by themselves.
