Ruby Dagger + Perrin (or Rahvin)

The Ruby Dagger is a great card but with a heavy drawback. The way to deal with this is to have many characters with the One Power ability(Liandrin). The Ruby Dagger gets very nasty if you then combine it with Perrin Ay'bara. With The Ruby Dagger on Perrin you are the one chosing were the damage produced by Perrin goes(Why not that nice Ishmael). Another good charcter to play The Ruby dagger on is Rahvin. With his ability to put damage on any character if he pays 3 One Power he can kill any character on the playing surface. But this means also if you don't have the cards to produce the One Power needed to remove corruption counters from Rahvin, you may loose the game really fast.

Good cards to include in a deck with this theme is Saidin Angreal (or Saidar Angreal), Personal Growth and other cards that increase the One Power Ability. Characters to include is Liandrin in a forsaken deck and many of the Aes Sedai if you are playing a Dragon deck. It is also a good idea to put the replecment character Lord Perrin in the deck. A card to put on the good cards list is Battle Hardened. With this card on the character useing The Ruby Dagger you will always roll all of his dices.

Today came a new rule that made this combo unplayable. There is now a rule that say that damage only can have one special effect. Targetable damage is one of those effects. You must chose either targetable or Ruby dagger effect. This means that no combos with Rahvin, Grey Men or Perrin are legal.
