Strategy:
If your anything like me you think that Belal got a
raw deal on the whole Callandor thing. Why should Rand have to
be the one to take callandor just because a few prophecies say
so. Thats why I have rewritten prophecy with this deck.
The idea is pretty simple. Use Asmodean to bring out Belal
1st turn (reduction of Pattern will almost definitely be necessary).
Next turn, declare the Callandor challenge and use both Asmodean
and Belal to win it. If you must, discard Belal after
he rolls his dice to add 5 additional support to the challenge
so you can win it. It really does not matter if you have someone
to put Callandor on or not (though that would be a great bonus),
the point is simply to WIN the Callandor challenge. Its
not going to be an easy win, but you should be able to pull it
off. Never fear however if you do not manage to win it. This
deck is pretty solid even without it.
Once you win the Callandor challenge, the rest will be history.
Go through your deck and place 5 Tear characters or Troops into
your homefront!
In addition to being packed with Tear characters and troops this
deck has good card drawing ability with The Stone Still Stands,
Connections, Tear Levies and Future Returns. It also has a lot
of cards that will strip your opponents deck like Rampage, War
of Attrition, Knowledge is Power and Sabotage. Oh, and if youre
wondering what Juilins doing in this deck...hes there
just in case you run across Thom. Simply rotate Juilin and watch
how hard it is for Thom to roll enough Intrigue to strip your
cards.
Whats the moral of the story? There isnt one...this
is a DARK prophecy. So have fun, kick butt and relish in the
knowledge that when it comes to prophecy things dont always
go the Heros way.
