Story

During Kings formative years of his illustrious career. He took your hand and walked you straight down the dark path through the flaming gates of HELL. Some say that King is so close to pure evil as you could get.
With Mercyful Fate he led us into a fearful journey into his gloomy underworld. We were doomed by the living dead so that we could witness Satan's fall, attend to the black funeral, come to the sabbath and pledge the oath.
The second half of his career he brought us to a realm of theatrical horror. There were no presents for christmas as Charon walked us across the river into the land of the dead. We were greeted by Abigal upon our arrival at the mansion in darkness. We had tea with his weakening mother and said good bye to Missy.
King Diamond got the idea of using makeup during a Alice Cooper concert in 1975. During this time he played guitar in Danish cover band called Brainstorm. King left Brainstorm 1978 to sing for local act Black Rose. Now the character King Diamond started to take shape.
King left Black Rose 1980 to join the punk metal act Brats. From this band Mercyful Fate took shape with Hank Sherman, Michael Denner and Timi Hansen.
1983 Mercyful Fate released the two Maxi singels Nuns Have No Fun and Black Masses.
Later that year they realised their first full length album Melissa
1984 In August this year their second full length album Don´t Break The Oath was released
1985 Friction between King and Hank Sherman led to the termination of Mercyful Fate
Now he band King Diamond raised
The No Presents For Christmas album was a great success on that holiday season
1986 King Diamonds first full length album Fatal Portrait was released
1987 This year the album Abigal was released. This record is the most powerful King Diamond album.
It led to King Diamond´s first successful single/video The Family Ghost
There was an increasing demand for a re - realese of Mercyful Fate´s classic album Nuns Have No Fun
so the remastered album The Beginning was released
1988 In June this he released the album Them
This was the firs King Diamond album to enter the Billboard Top 100
The first King Diamond compilation mini - album The Dark Sides hit the stores in October
1989 Conspiracy was realesed in August this year
1990 This year King Diamond released the album The Eye
1991 The Mercyful Fate ablum Return Of The Vampire was released
1992 The album album A Dangerous Meeting was realesed
This year Mercyful Fate was reformed in thier original line up.
1993 The Mercyful Fate records In The Shadows and The Bell Witch was released
1994 Mercyful Fate released Time
1995 The King Diamond record The Spiders Lullabye was released
1996 This year the Mercyful Fate released Into The Unknown and King Diamond released The Graveyard
1997 .
1998 King Diamond released the record Voodoo and Mercyful Fate realeased Dead Again
1999 The Mercyful Fate album 9 was released
2000 King Diamond released the album House Of God. King Diamond played at Sweden Rock Festival.
