Slave To Metal Management

The management was formed back in – 96. When WOLFSBLOOD needed some help with the non music stuff, Daniel Eriksson was asked to give them a helping hand, as he already was in - and knew pretty well - the musicscene. It was Daniel Jansson that once upon a time gave him the name "Slave To Metal" because he simply was a slave to metal music…

Daniel started to help WOLFSBLOOD when it was time to send out their first demo. Also the second one was sent out… and Daniel found himself more and more in the rehearsal room listening to the band. He spent very much time with them – at rehearsals and in the studio, and then there were a lot of drinking at that time!!!

Daniel moved from Dals Långed in –98 and since then the management is in a little village called Ödskölt. In –00 IN SOLITUDE was formed by Mr. Jansson and David Gustafsson and once again he was asked to give a helping hand.
Spring 2001 is the greatest time in the management’s history. The bands SHATTERED, STARDUST, MORDANT, the HARLEQUINS, DAVIDIAN and WORTEX were "signed". The last band that, in a way, was connected to the company are BESEECH from Borås (they have recorded two cd´s; one released on Metal Blade in –98 and one for Pavement in –00).

And now there will be no more bands signed to the mgmt. Daniel wants to put his full time and strength into these already established acts. His ambition is to get contract-deals for them and to give them a chance to be on the road.

In Nov. -01 Daniel and his family will move back to Dals Långed, the new adress is now:
