Furyom's Polymorph Spell (Alteration)

Level: 6
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M
Duration: Permanent
Casting Time: 1 turn
Area of Effect: 1 creature
Saving Throw: Special

This spell completely alters the physical form of the recipient creature. The target must either be a willing target or unconcious (save vs. spells to avoid). Shapeshifters are immune to this spell as all creatures cursed into a new shape. The transformation starts as soon as the spell is cast, but the process lasts for 2d6 hours (a system shock roll is not required). A dispel magic will cancel the spell if the transformation is not complete, and the creature will revert to it's original form in hour. Once the process is complete, only Wish, Limited Wish (or Furyom's polymorph spell) will restore the creatures original form. (Note that for the process to be inverted with the Furyom's Polymorph Spell, the original work of art used to cast the spell will be required.) The size of the new form cannot be bigger or smaller than 50% of the original form, furthermore, wings, tails or tentacles will be useless, unless the original form had them. The spell can only work on humanoid or human-like creatures, and transform them into humanoid or human-like forms. Specific persons can be duplicated, but it requires a work of art depicting the creature (being a statue or painting) of at least 3000 gp worth (abstract paintings not allowed). Once the spell is cast, the painting or sculpture will start to change to resemble the original form of the target, the process lasting until the target assumes the new shape.

The material components for this spell are, a work of art (sculpture or painting with variable value) and half cup of shapeshifter blood (one month old max.).

Argunvadar's Lightning Ray (Invocation/Evocation)

Level: 1
Range: 10 yrd./lvl
Components: V, M
Casting Time: 2
Area of Effect: 1 ft: 8 yrd; 2 ft: 4 yrd
Saving Throw: Special

This spell creates a ray of electrical power that encircles the victim. It does 1d4+1 hp plus 1 additional hp per each level of the caster. A successful saving throw negates the d4+1 damage but not the damage due level. It was researched by Argunvadar Margaster, a mage who became a corpse in hands of a Githyanki patrol. The material components are a pinch of cat hair and a metal rod. Only the hair is consumed in the casting; (Argunvadar had plenty of it due to his hate of cats: "Elminster, my mouse, helped me a lot, Thanks. (sorry 'bout your tail...!").

These spells come from the spellbook of an half-elven Cleric/Mage/Thief, Hank of Liira (formerly of Waukeen):
