JUDAS PRIEST
Brittish Steel

Contains maybe one of the metal historys most famous song: "Breaking the Law". This was the big breakthrough for Judas Preist (1980), and after that......well, thats history.

So, what to say about this album? A nice piece of early rock n´roll. Halford voice are great as always, and the guitar also. A cult album, even if Judas have made better albums after this, and I must admit that I am not a Judas fan or collector, I only have a few albums, but I will buy more.....only on vinyl. No CD´s for me.....

JUDAS PRIEST
Turbo

A exprimental album, which contains a lot of keyboards and other stuff. Maybe cause Halford had some fun with some chemicals at that time......But some songs sounds really great, specially the title track which keeps growing every time I listen to it. The rest are just ordinary songs......It have no peak, and no bottom either. Just an average album.

JUDAS PRIEST
Ram it Down

1988 they return again, no with a more straight forward metal sound. The title track are great: Plain metal, and I would give my life for Halford´s voice.....

"Blood Red Skies" are also one song to remeber. It reminds me of the sound from the "Turbo" album: keyboards, a drum-machine (I think so...), and other effects. But the cover of "Johnny B. Goode" one can forget pretty quick.

The lyrics are also different: Just taste the songs titles: "Heavy Metal", "Monsters of Rock", "Hard as Iron"......say no more.
