CD-Drives 624A

The Acer CD624A is a 24X max. speed, hybrid CAV/CLV, 5.25-inch half height form factor CD-ROM drive. CAV (Constant Angular Velocity) technology maintains consistent CD-ROM disk rotation speed and reads data at various transfer rates. CLV (Constant Linear Velocity) is the technology used in conventional CD-ROM drives which keeps the data transfer rate at a certain fixed level by changing the rotation speed at all radius.
