After a 5-2 Washington victory, Florida coach Doug MacLean went to speak with Capitals coach Ron Wilson, but would not talk about what was said. In a rare display, Berube went into the Florida locker room after the game to talk to Worrell, but was rebuffed. Berube would not talk to the media.

 MacLean have done he`s work with the Florida Panthers MacLean was fired as coach of the struggling Florida Panthers on Monday, two seasons after leading them to the Stanley Cup finals. But Doug MacLean took the news well, says Bill Torrey the president of the Florida Panthers. 

Niedermayer and Kozlov out of play 4-6 weeks both Rob Niedermayer and Victor Kozlov is out of play 4-6 weeks after the 3-1 loss against the Rangers. Niedermayer will miss 4-6 weeks with a dislocated right thumb, and Victor Kozlov will miss 4-6 weeks with a separated right shoulder. 

Dave Lowry to the Sharks in San Josè, and Kozlov to the sunshine state Florida Dave Lowry will not continue this season with the Florida Panthers. The 31-year old grinder is traded to the Sharks against Victor Kozlov. The Panthers hope more offensive hockey when the 22-year old Kozlov will play for the Panthers.  

Flyers were really flying away from the Panthers in 5-2 win in Miami Lindros, LeClair and Zubrus are a good cobinations for the flyers. LeClair did his 17th and 18th goal for the season, and Lindros did three assist. LeClair and Lindros lead the NHL in points now. 

Devils handled troubled Panthers .The Florida Panthers didn't do any better Wednesday night under assistant coach Duane Sutter They lost again. The Panthers is missing coach Doug McLean. Doug is back soon again, but until then they must try to win becuase they don`t have so much points like they have hoped before this season. The Panthers are really pissed now says the fans in Miami. 

Panthers coach fined, suspended .Coach Doug MacLean has been suspended for two games without pay, and fined $5,000 as a result of a confrontation with officials, the NHL announced Tuesday.
