From Dougnac Montejano
to Dougnac Boussac
Thank to my cousin Antonio (ex Pirincho) I am
able to complete the information that I originally got 30 years ago from
my aunt Elena del Carmen.
Pierre Dougnac, married to Marguerite
Raffast and son to another Pierre Dougnac is the
highest that we are able to climb in the family tree. If we go deeper in
the jungle we may risk to find something close to a monkey.. anyway our
Pierre was born the year 6 of the Republic, in Oust, Department of Ariege,
France.
In 1823 he went into Spain side by side to the
Duke of Angulema to restore "The absolutism". Somehow, he established himself
in Murcia and married, after kidnapping her, a noble , beautiful and young
lady called Josefa Montejano y Vargas.
The family old scriptures tells us that he was
very intelligent and extremely handsome. We also know that they lived a
very licentious live and product of a passion without limits they got two
children Juan Bautista and Carmen Dougnac Montejano
y Vargas. (We, the following generations have got the almost impossible
task to restore the old moral rules. But it seems that the genes are to
strong, we are still very good-looking, ( there is not any "unpleasant
or ugly Dougnac") , and most of us are very delighted with the kind of
behaviour that they introduced. Up to now no one in the family is interested
to do anything about it but to follow them...!!!)
Juan Bautista, emulated what his
father did before, felt his royal blood boiling and went to Cuba during
the first Independence war, as a volunteer, to defend the interest of the
Spanish Crown. There he married Antonia Ledón Fernadez
and after the independence of this Caribbean country, the family departed
and began to spread the name to the four corners of the Earth.

In Granada, Spain, we have the descendants of

Jesus Dougnac Ledon, executed by the
Republicans during the Spanish civil war. He had five children, three daughters
and two sons. The oldest of them, Juan Dougnac Moreno visited our
family in Chile many years ago.

Carmen Dougnac Ledon, married to Pedro
Gy, didn't get any descendants but they took care of granduncle´s
Jesus children

In Miami, USA, lives the descendants of Manolo
Dougnac Ledon, he got one son and one daughter.

Manuel and who got two children Laura
and Carlos.

And Josephine.

In the Internet we found a 12 years old girl, Rachel
Dougnac. That later on resulted to be Carlos daughter. Thanks to
her we managed to reconstruct the Miami-branch.

In Buenos Aires, Argentina, lives the family of

Francisco Dougnac Ledon, he got five
dauthers and one son who die in the seventies and.

the two grand daughters of Arturo Dougnac Ledon.
He got only one daughter who died many years ago.

Ledon were living in Argentina and Spain respectively. We have
lost contact with them.
