Download IRCChess. IRCChess 1.20 is a very irc like program, two people connect to eachother to play. There is also a chat box for the players and the observers to chat with each other to discuss the game.
It also includes:
a Teaching Mode
a Resizable Chess Board and Chat Window
The ability to calculate ratings based on performance.

This is what you need to be able to use it:
Windows 3.1 running Win32's 32bit file extension or Windows 95 and
NT, and a TCP/IP compatible Winsock.
