the story of Married With Children is (like everyone
probably already know) the story about the Bundy family.
The Bundy family is not quite like other families, because it's,
how should I put it, kind of wacky.
Al Bundy: (Ed O'Neill) an underpaid shoe salesman,
that scored four touchdowns in one game in high-school, is one of
the front people in No Ma'am and is kind of an american hero.
Peg Bundy: (Katey Sagal) a "housewife" that spends her days
by watching talkshows, specially Oprah.
Kelly Bundy: (Christina Applegate) a, how should I say it...
...ah, well...Kelly Bundy, the not so bright blonde.
Bud Bundy: (David Faustino) the son who by some stange reason
managed to get stuck in puberty, with everything that that means.
Ed O'Neill: Born on April 12 in Youngstown, Ohio. Started is
acting career in high school, where he performed in several stage
productions. He likes the stage, but at this time he preferred playing
football, which he did for both Youngstown University and Ohia state.
When he was 30 he moved to New York to continue with his acting career.
His first role was as an understudy in the Broadway production of "Knockout".
Other stage performances are "The Front Page", "A Streetcar Named Desire" and
"Of Mice and Men". When it comes to movies O'Neill has had part in for instance
"Little Giants", "Blue Chips" and "K.9.". He currently lives in Los Angeles.
Katey Sagal: Born January 19 in Los Angeles.
She first intended to become a singer and started this career when she was 5 years
old. She has been a backup vocalist for Bob Dylan, Etta James, Olivia Newton John
and others. In 1985 she performed in "The beautiful Lady" and was spooted by an
agent who got her a part in "Mary", a comedy series that didn't live for long.
Besides "Married With Children" she had appered in some TV movies, for instance
"She Says She's Innocent" and "Trail of Tears". Last year Sagal released her first
CD "Well" on Virgin Records.
Christina Applegate: Born on November 25 in Los Angeles. She started
her acting career when she was 3 months old! When she appered in the arms of her mother
in "Days of our Lives". On TV she has had roles in "Heart of the City", "Family Ties",
"All is Forgiven" and some others. When it comes to movies some of the titles are
"Wild Bill", "Vibratins" and "Don't Tell Mom the Babtsitter's Dead". She has also made
some stage apperances, for instance "The Third Day" and "The Axemen's Jazz". She currntly
lives in L.A.
David Faustino: Made his acting debute when he was 3 months old,
(just as Christina), in "The Lily Tomlin Special". After this he has made over 150
apperances on TV, in different series, TV movies and commercials. Among the series
are "Family Ties" and "St. Elsewhere". Some of his TV movies are "Perfect Harmony" and
"Fatal Vows". He has also appered in some big screen production for instance "I Ought to
be in Pictures". Besides acting David is also an entrepreneur and in 1991 he founded and
managed the first Hip-Hop and Funk Nightclup on Sunset Boulevard. He also devotes some time
to different charitable institutions.
