About this version of "How Green Was My Lettuce"
For this publication of the old Carl Barks classic, Gladstone wanted to
visualize two lost pannels from the story, using Barks sketches, and asked
Don to do the inking. Don, of course, would have preferred another artist
that drew more simillar to Barks' style to have done it, but was persuaded.
