Movies

-I love to watch a good movie! Just imagine this: It is a cold, dark and rainy autumn day. Finally, the evening comes and darkness is slowly gathering around preparing for the night... You're heading for the cinema to watch a cool gothic film "The Crow" or maybe "Seven", the excellent film by David Fincher.

The Crow

Or imagine this: It is a hot summer day, you've been out all day shopping. A lot of people have been out in the city, not only the usual jam but also a lot of lost tourists blocking your way where ever you go. And on your way home the subway is full of lesser beings who are screaming and polluting in their usual way, making your trip home most uncomfortable. What is then better than to watch a violent film like "Clockwork orange", "Natural Born Killers" or why not violent comedy films like "Braindead" and "Bad Taste". You will get back in the original shape, I guarantee!

Clockwork Orange

And there are fools who want to censor this type of movies! Well, the world is full of idiots! Can't they see that it is preventing people from committing acts of violence by helping them to deal with their aggressions in a very intelligent way. Those who use violence would use it, with or without the films existence. Maybe in a different way, but they would surely use it.

Science fiction movies are always welcome. Among my favourites you find the "Star Wars" trilogy and "Terminator I" & "II". ….and, do not miss those very weird and very cool sf-movies "The Fifth element" and "Men In Black".

I'm not so very much into comedies, but of course I like some of them. Rowan Atkinson and Monty Python movies are GREAT, as well as Eddie Murphy's earlier films and his comeback "The Nutty Professor"!
