What is it and what does it do?
This is a small program for people using
the Mac that has an Olympus camera. It sets the creation date
(including time) of your digital images to the snap date (including
time).
Why this program?
When you use the Camedia Master program to
download photos from your Olympus digital camera, the creation dates
of those files are set to the download dates. This means the
photographs you just downloaded will not reflect the actual time of
their creation, which was when they were taken. It also means it will
be hard to sort the photos, because they will be . Sure you can open
the photos in Camedia to see when they were taken, but this is not
very practical. By setting the creation date
Installation
No installation needed. Just put the
program in a convenient place, say in the same folder as your Camedia
master program.
Operation
Just drop your digital camera images on
the program. The creation dates of the files will now reflect the
snap date. If the program cannot find the info in the file, save
because you edited the image in another program, nothing is done.
