LANKing readme.
What is it?
LANKing is a small program that tricks your Myth game into believing that the last game you played was KotH, and can thus allow you to play it on LAN or IP (only)

Background.
Ok, the cat is partially out of the basket.
I have known about this for quite some time, but have stayed my hand till today when I was informed that 3rd party maps will let you play KoTH on them. My guess is that soon all will be revealed, and we will all be playing third party maps till Bungie releases Myth 2 "Dark Riders of Myrkriddia". Till then you can try this. Read the disclaimers.

MAJOR DISCLAIMERS
1. This program will not let you play King of the Hill on bungie.net.
Even if it could YOU MAY NOT PLAY KING OF THE HILL ON BUNGIE.NET.
Not yet anyway.

2. This is like an easter egg, an undocumented function.
The game does not work very well, except perhaps on RiP. There was a reason Bungie removed it. If you do use this program be aware that there are flaws in how it works. But it is worth trying once or twice with friends on LAN. Dont tell Bungie that it does not work. They know that.

3. This has not been tested properly on PC.
It wont hurt Myth, it will succeed, fail or crash. I just have not tried the operation.

Operation
Only the host needs to do this.
Start a LAN or IP game as normal. The map must be one of Mudpit Massacre,
Dance, Carnage, Creep or RiP (Dark or Light)
Make all setting exactly as you want them, but choose any game.
Quit Myth.
Place LANKing in your Myth folder (where your Myth application resides).
Run LANKing.
Start up Myth. Tell Myth to create the same game as before.
Dont press Option. If you do (or enter bungie.net) the settings will be reset.
If your players complain, its redo or "tough luck".
Play the easter egg.

Rugby
What about rugby?
No, rugby does not work at all. There are no balls, no goals, no scoring.
Perhaps on a third party map, who knows.

By downloading this you agree to abide by the above disclaimers. This is just for fun.
