Legendary films

These are legendary films of all levels. They are all zero-casualty films, with the exception of Forest Heart (9 casualties) and The Watcher (1 casualty). I have coded the films:

s=similar solution to my Normal solution.
i=interesting film (IMO - In my opinion)
b=boring film (again IMO)

All films zipped. Watch out for the bug in Seven gates The film is 1.2 only.
Also the Last Devoid film is 1.1 only.

1. Crow's bridge
(s). Film - zipped - binhexed.

The big trick in this level is to engage one wave at a time. Harder than it sounds.

2. A traitors grave
(s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Clear out as much as possible before approaching the monument. The traitor can exit at one of several points on the map. Check out how the standard path through the woods is closed.

3. Siege of Madrigal
(sbi) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Boring and interesting? Yes, there is a boring initial archery duel, but then there is tactic that works nicely. A small party of warriors crosses the bridge and runs around the enemy, separating them in pursuit and making the job much easier for the archers. This also activated the wights, and the enemy got caught in wight explosions. In fact the wight-hunting part is easier than Normal, because the increased number of wights results in chain explosions and wights dancing in pairs.
The large force can be a real threat with many ghols who can catch up to you and soulless that will shoot you if you try to make a stand against the ghols. But it is possible to kill the ghôls without alerting the main force. Clear out the wights between the bridge and the main force. If you get chased by the entire force and there are wights blocking your way, you are dead.

4. Homecoming (s) Film - zipped - binhexed

It's important to clear out the ghôls before picking up the codex.
A trick: the ghôls will atack units with their backs turned, so turn you archers away from the ghôls, then fire at them as they get close.

5. Flight from Covenant (s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Charge the archers and dwarfs forward to gain the maximum retreat/fighting distance.

6. Force Ten from Stoneheim (s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

The villagers never prayed at the temple, I dont think I have ever seen them do that. They died horribly, so in a sense I did take casualties.

7. Bagrada
(s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

That first ledge is a really good position. Rush to it after the first wave. Your berserkers work like heavy cavalry and should take the first wave in the flank.

8. Ambush at Devils's overlook (si) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Laying satchels in formation is the key to this one. Make a large minefield and trigger the soulless to come all at once.

9. The five champions
(s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

When meeting the first wave of thrall keep all heroes in the cave arm you started in and let Oleg and Ki'Ansi deal with the thrall. The thrall will come around the corner in a packed formation, perfect for dwarven grenades.
Once (actually 3 times) in a coop game we split up on the captains order, and died horribly as the thrall also split up.

10. Out of the barrier (s) Film - zipped - binhexed.
Getting that bow on Legendary - like I do here - is just stupid. If you want to make this level, keep to the north side, and you will meet half as many enemies.

11. Silver Mines (s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

The key is avoiding fighting. The only reason I stick around is to gain valuable experience for Shadow on the mountain.

12. Shadow on the Mountain (i) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Preemptive strikes on two fronts. Let me recommend a preemptive strike on the beach with one or 2 berserks, the dorfs will throw satchel at their own troops.

13. Seven Gates. (sb) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Someone - sorry I cant remember who - recommended attacking the Shade with a Jman. And it was a good tip, because he can heal himself if he gets hit by a dispersal dream. Warning. This file must be viewed with 1.2! On any other version, it will show a loss. See buglist.

14. Forest Heart.
(sb) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Yawn. Sorry. There is a long sequence when a Trow moves quickly between 2 positions and is unharmed by a heavy barrage of arrows.

15. Heart of stone
(s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

16. Smiths of muirtheme
(s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

17. Sons of Myrgard
(s) Film - zipped - binhexed.
Really tough keeping Balin alive the first minute after going visible. A wight pen comes in handy.
When I played this suddenly the dwarfs started cheering with enemies in sight and the ghôls outside the gates alive, I thought I had accidentally pressed Ctrl-'+'. Reloaded a save and at least got to kill all ghôls in sight. So I guess you dont need to kill the ghôls outside.

S. A long awaited party.
(si) Film - zipped - binhexed.

I just love killing all those praying ghôls.

19. The road North (sb) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Training archers for across the Gjol.

20. Across the Gjol
(s) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Just like in Normal a wight stumbled into my minefield so it could go off. Luck? Maybe, but watch how I "heard" it using a single archer. For those not so lucky, use the technique I use to deal with the remaining soulless, the warriors are much more sturdy and can take more soulless spears.
3 veteran archers from Road North helped a lot, especially insuring that those fetch dont get to close.

21. The Watcher
(i) Film - zipped - binhexed.

How to not fight the Shades. Lots of berserkers in red when I am done, but only one casualty.

22. River of blood
(sb) Film - zipped - binhexed.

A protracted archery fight in the early part. The fetch fires through the walls and the Trow and Myrs try to walk through with only partial success.

23. Pools of Iron.
(si) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Dont bunch up near an Avatara. It might be hazardous to your health.

24. The last Battle
(si) Film - zipped - binhexed.

Preemptive strike. Notice how the fetch sets off the stachel charges and kills itself and a bunch of thrall.

25. The great devoid.
Film - zipped - binhexed.

This film is 1.1 only. I played it from start to finish in 1.2, but could not open the resulting film in any version. I opened a save and finished the game in 1.1, but the resulting film - this one - could not be viewed in 1.2 or 1.3b2. I have tried for several hours to get a working 1.2, but failed. If someone wants to give it a shoot I will be happy to mail a save right before the throw of the head, on condition that any successful 1.2/1.3 film gets mailed back to me.
