Berserkers Theme: Common Norse names with very long descriptions. I will try to give a historical/mythical example of each name. Some names are names of giants and as such no-nos for any viking.
Historical background: Berserk is generally accepted to mean "Bare serk", or bare shirt. They were supposed to be invulnerable to cutting damage and had to be bludgeoned to death. Berserkers generally belong to the viking fiction . They were sometimes part of a king's guard, but more often rogue warriors feared for their prowess in battle, but killed by the story's hero. Sometimes in sagas the hero or villian wears a shirt that confers invulnerability. In more realistic tales, heroes would wear shirts dyed red or blue. These colours were the worst to dye, and wearing such a shirt would be a bit flashy.
