Scialfa has been a part of E-Street Band for several years, playing together with Bruce Springsteen. A couple of years ago the Boss leaved the E-Street Band and during time Patti and Bruce got together. Today married. Scialfa had even before the E-Street Band started to write on her own, and this she continued with. It ended with an album. |
The music she writes is a gentle rock beat with, again, simple chords. The texts is mostly about love and hurt. But some about happiness. The music tickles my mind for sure, with a lot of acoustic instruments and with a "special" touch of some sounds. Ofcourse the guitar is great, not hard or very complexed, just easy and straigt. The music gives you a peace of mind. Try it out! Also great to play the guitar with. Her voice is a bit high so it is hard for me sometimes. (I never sing with people around.)
