2Pac & Eminem
Some people are starting to say that Eminem is the rapper that's going to take over after Pac. (Note: take over, not replace). My reply is a screaming NO!!
Sure, Eminem says what he has on his mind and he also has problems with the law. But take a look at what he is speaking 'bout; Britney Spears, N' Sync etc. Is that similar subjects as those Pac speaked 'bout? Nope...
Eminem's problems with the law isn't something that I'm gonna discuss because I don't think that legal problems are something that you should compare. Therefore neither Pac or Eminem will get any creds for that. Sorry.
It aint that I hate Eminem \lquote cause I think that he brings fresh air to the rap/hip-hop scene, but he can do so much better. At this time I think that he's getting commercial, almost like the ones he says he hate; pop stars. If he just could come to sense and do more songs like Stan, The Way I Am and others, i.e. serious songs, my opinion is that he can candidate for the Pac award.
The fact that the Outlawz really shows what they think 'bout Eminems love to Pac have added extra spice to this discussion. As we know Pac is Eminem's favourite rapper and he has also said that there will never be someone like Pac. It's these things that made the Outlawz mad: "he must be gay, look how much he is talking 'quote bout Tupac".
Discussions are going on 'bout if Eminems love is for real or if he's doing it for the money and to get new "friends"\rdblquote and listeners.
I donno what to say 'bout this, but it feels like this discussion has been overplayed. If I was a rapper I would damn sure speak 'bout Pac, both in interviews and lyrics. Why should we get mad at Eminem when he answers what he think on the question: "Who do you think is the greatest rapper/artist?".
The last thing that I unlike with Eminem is that he's so damn childish! Sure you can make jokes and play(?) stupid, but when it's on a 6 years old level it's making me wonder. That's the opposite of Pac.
