All Eyez
On Me:
When this album came out it was the first
double album in the rap history, so you can understand that there
are countless songs on this album. Tupac wrote the material for
this CD while he was sitting in jail and a time after that, so
what's the result of months in prison? The first thing that I
wondered was if the album would be a commentary about his life,
and thoughts about the changes that was needed. Or would it be a
album filled with anger and hate? The answer, according to me, is
both! All of Tupac's best selling singles are on this CD; How Do
You Want It, California Love, I Aint Mad At Cha and a lot of
others. One of my favorite songs is on CD I, Only God Can Judge
Me, the retrospective lyrics and the cool beats makes it an hit
in my ears. This CD represents both sides of Tupac, the caring
and telling rapper and the gangsta' rapper that sweeps the table
with his fast and intense lyrics and the slamming beats. With all
this positive things you may wonder why I don't give a ten to All
Eyez On Me? The answer to that question is that the CD is a
double album, and a double album means uneven quality. There are
too many songs that stay at the average level, but other songs
easily compensate them. This album screams West Coast sound and
that means banging beats that you just have to listen too! The
guest rappers are the best ones that have ever been together on
an album, including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, E40, Method Man, Redman,
Nate Dogg and a bunch of others.. You'll have to buy or listen to
this album, 'cause it's a classic already.

If anyone doubted Pac was the greatest ever
then this album says it all. 2Pac comes outta jail filled with
energy and anger and he takes it all out on this double CD. Every
single song on that album is produced on the highest level
possible in the rap game as only Death Row can. Guest rappers
iclude not only his fellow Death Row inmates (such as Snoop Doggy
Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, Dr. Dre, michel'le and more) but also some
of the Bay Area Ridahz (E40, Richie Rich, C-Bo and more) and
homies from the East Coast (The East Coast kings - Method Man and
Redman). The album deals with many topics, the variety of styles
will keep this album alive for ever. Noone can compare to Tupac -
The lyrics, The heart he put into every single thing he made, the
charizma. This album will take you to many places and situations
and that's what Tupac Shakur the most talented person in the rap
game did. R.I.P. Pac. There's a heaven for a G

2Pac
Greatest Hits:
It isnt much to say about his CD. It has all the famous 2Pac songs and three previously unreleased songs; God Bless The Dead, Changes and Troublesome '96. If you have all the other CD's I doubt that you need this one, maybe for the new songs. The most famous of the previously unreleased songs is Changes; it's one of the few songs by Tupac that actually have been played much on the national radio stations. The song has some lyrics from I Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto, and the flow in the song is really nice. Try to imagine a gangsta' song by 2Pac without that kind of lyrics, then you've got Changes in a nutshell. It's a really good song. Troublesome '96 have for many become their "new" favorite song, it's a crazy, powerful and speedy song that he has made there! They've also included the song Hit 'Em Up on CD I, which is one of Tupac's hardest songs. Filled with his wrath and anger Tupac explodes in an inferno of West Side love and fuck Bad Boy lyrics. What I can remember I've never heard a song with that many fuck and motherfuckas as in Hit 'Em Up! I've got some complaints about the making of this CD, because I think that the producers should have arranged the tracks in a chronological line, so that you could follow Tupac through his life and career easier. But overall this CD is a must have for the ones that havent got all his records or for the ones that are thinking about starting to listen to him. There is something of everything on this CD, both the trapped young ghetto kid and the angry thug.

2Pac + Outlaws, Still I Rise:
I'm not really sure what I think about this album... It got plenty of 2Pac on it, but I don't get the feeling that it's 2Pac singing. Of course it's him singing but the way he's singing at isnt what I'm used to. The beats are more modern in the sound then 2Pac's previous albums, and with that I mean that it's the usually "Britney Spears sound, but you get a feeling that 2Pac would have made another sound on the songs if he had that possibility, which he hasn't. So how is it with the Outlaws singing then? I can say that they sound as they always have done, and with that I mean that they sound average. They've got good speed in their singing but they doesn't have that rapping that you get sucked in too, a personal sound is what they are lacking. Many people are wondering how much 2Pac actually is singing on this CD, since it comes from the Outlaws? Don't worry about that, 'cause 2Pac is the main person on this album and they need him to sell some records. Overall I think that this album is average but since it got 2Pac on it I recommend it. But dont think that it has the same lyrics and beats as he's own albums, then you're fooled. But the album is good enough and it's 2Pac so....

Me
Against The World
3 Stars, you ask? Well I deeply appreciate the
bass bumpin hit "If I Die 2Nite" and it's lyrical
content. Other songs like "F*ck the World", "Death
Around The Corner"(my favorite), and "Lord Only Knows",
2Pac came out swingin on his 3rd joint to hit the shelves, in '95.
I have heard the album a lot, of course, and I must say though,
that his softer side in "Dear Mama" lured in a lot of
music fans who might not even be into 2Pac, or rap in general.
MTV gave it a mainstream feel, pushing away some underground
fans, but then again, MTV will go out of their way to diss Tupac
in their programming. One girl on the Real World casting special
saw him on TV during the special, and all they caught her saying
was how much of a hypocrite he was for writing "Dear Mama".
His women problems were in court at that time, so he got a lot of
negative light for that song, though it showed he was sincere.
All in all, the album was heavy in emotion, and it deserves
serious attention as a rap classic, at least in my view. I'm out........

Voice of the people
2Pac, what can you say? The greatest
rapper of all time. West side loayal
an East side hater, 2pac is said "To Live and Die in LA is
the place to be.
You got to be there to know it, everybody wanna see."
Well he did live and
die in LA, sort of. This man supposeofly "died"
in Las Vegas Nevada. People
say he is still alive, so do I.
But it isn't his death that really intrigues me, it was his life.
HE had an
impact that still exists in me. Now that he is gone my life
has been
stressed out. I hate it. I think about hima and i
hate it even more. I
can't believe he is gone and it really annoys me. I fell
depressed and sorry
he is gone. When he was alive and still now i listen to his
music to cheer
me up and make me laugh. His music was strong and
meaningful. When he said
he hated someone he hated the (Listen to Hit'em up). I
wanna shout out to
his mom and the rest of his family and say you had a great and
gifted son.
