This is a MATLAB program that simulates a batch (binary system) distillation column. The code is awailable for download here. The program uses a Newton solver called nsol. To run the simulation just download these files, unzip it and run dynamik.m in MATLAB. This will simulate the distillation with constant R. Run regdynamik.m and it will simulate the distillation with constant concentration in the distillate.
