Olī Dirty Bastard is the joker in the clan no doubt. Heīs crazy and heīs a genius at the same time. Heīs also one of the pioneers, he was one of the members in the group "All In Together" along with Prince Rakeem and Gza/Genius. That was the group that later expanded and became the Wu-Tang Clan. There is an unreleased track with GZA and ODB titled "Take It Back To Brooklyn" from way way back.

Just before he relased his debut album "Return II the 36 Chambers (the dirty version) he was shot in the back twice but survived, he drops lines about this in "Brooklyn Zoo"

"Without a doubt I've never been tooken out,
By a nigga, who couldn't figure,
yo by a nigga, who couldn't figure,
Yo by a nigga, who couldn't figure,
how to pull a fuckin' gun trigger,
Get the fuck outta here!

and also in "Triumph"

"What yaīll niggas thought you wasnīt gonna see me?"

When the Wu-Tang recording studio in Staten Island/Shaolin was raided by the F.B.I. OlīDirty Bastard was incarcerated along with Inspectah Deck in Rikers Island. While he was serving time he changed his name to Osiris saying he wanted to be a role model for the children from now on. But then in nine-eight he changed his name again, this time to Big Baby Jesus.
ODB is planning to drop his second album "God Made Dirt, and Dirt Donīt Hurt" in nine-nine, and once again heīs teaming up with the Rza. Here is a quote.

"ODB has broked every possible rule written. The new album he's been working on is even more rules being broken. He's changed his name to Baby Jesus or Big Baby Jesus he goes back and forth. I cut some songs on the album and he's raw. He chooses my rawest and unorthodox tracks. He's so crazy and cranked out."

One question that surfaces in any conversation about OlīDirty Bastard is whether heīs still a member of the clan, since he seems to miss every major Wu event Olī Dirty Bastard answers "I can never be out of Wu tang we blood, I would never been anything if it wasnīt for Rza and Wu tang. Rza taught me everything I know". (OlīDirty hasenīt appered on any of the Wu solo albums yet (not counting "Duel of The Iron Mic" chorus"). He also has the least number of rhymes on the Wu tang Forever). But then on the other hand heīs been doing a lot of guest apperences.
