Amadablam is located in the Everest area. Its probably the second most known peak in the park and has an altitude of 6850 meter.The most famous route goes up the South-West shoulder and is a steep climb in mixed terrain. Base camp is situated in a area called Mingbo, and the approach to Mingbo from Lukla airfield is a three three days march in sherpaland on the famous Everest trekk.
