A DESCRIPTION OF BENGT JOHMÅR, MY INTERESTS AND PROBLEMBASED LEARNING

MY INTERESTS AND GENERAL FACTS ABOUT ME (See down below)

PERSONAL REFLECTIONS ON PROBLEMBASED LEARNING

Who am I? Well, my name is Bengt Johmår and I live in Båstad, south of Sweden. Båstad, you know the famous place for tennis in the world. My profession is to teach. I do teach students in secondary college and above and my subjects are biology, chemistry, general science and environmental questions. As you noticed I am interested in nature and animals. I do prefer the ocean and the marine environment. Which means that I am a member of a small idealistic organisation called Argos, who works for the marine environment.

But, as you can see of the pictures in the beginning, my interest for the nature also often means that I am doing practical work in our beautiful nature for the idealistic organisation Bjare Natural-scenery Preservation (BNP). The organisation takes care of a couple of groves and meadows in our countryside. These are real golden places in our beautiful Bjare. I am also a member of the tunnel-group, a subdivision of BNP, which handle the contact with the Environmentalgroup of the building of the tunnel through Hallandsas.
