 * minor cleanup
 * people didnt like the 'system()', so I removed it
 * removed the 'service.h' and made use of 'struct servent' instead
 * made definitions of the range, this will be set as flags later on
 * found a use of fflush()
 * corrected a compiling-error of connect()
 * made a redefinition of the variable 'i'
